If removed your rib can grow back!

The lower rib can regenerate? Hmmm, could God have known this when he performed the very first surgery on Adam? :)

Growth as a Christian?

We spend so much time, money, and resources in order to ‘grow’ as a Christian, when the most effective producer of growth is free and frequently neglected. Spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ as laid out in the Great Commission will cause more growth than any technique, program, or class. Start today and tell someone what God has done for you.

Mark 16:9Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils. 10And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept. 11And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.

12After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country. 13And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.

14Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. 15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Who needs to be a Christian?

The theme of the entire Bible is the Redemption of Mankind. Christ’s death on the cross was the climactic event that made salvation possible.

In fact according to II Peter 3:9, ( “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” ) it is God’s desire that every person would be saved. However, each person must make his/her own conscious decision to trust Jesus Christ and Him alone for salvation. We pray you’ll make this decision today!

1. Who needs to be a Christian?

Since all have sinned, all need a Savior. Every person needs to be a Christian.

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

2. Why do you need to be a Christian?Since the payment of our sin is death, Jesus Christ offers us life by His substitutionary death on the cross

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

3. How do you become a Christian?Becoming a Christian is an event in your life when you:

  1. Acknowledge you are a sinner,
  2. Recognize and trust Jesus Christ and Him alone to save you from your sins,
  3. Believe that truth felt in your heart and announce it through words (or prayer).

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Romans 10:9-11

“9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.”

4. What does Christ expect from you as a Christian?

The word ” unto ” in this verse literally means ” for “. Therefore, when we say ” Yes ” to Jesus Christ we are saying ” No ” to self. We no longer live for ourselves but we now live for Him who died for us!

II Corinthians 5:15 “And [that] he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.”

5. When should you become a Christian?

The scripture uses the analogy of Jesus knocking on a door. There is no door knob on His side of the door. He will not force Himself inside, but He will and does knock. If you feel compelled right now to make a change, that is the knock of Jesus Christ.

Remember: Satan would have never told you this. You would have been content to stay as you are. Therefore, it must be Jesus knocking!

Will you let Him in? If so, pray the prayer of salvation below and then let us know by email so we can pray for you and with you concerning your decision.

Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

Prayer of Salvation:

“Dear Jesus,

Thank you for knocking on my heart’s door. I admit to you there is sin in my life and I need forgiveness. Please forgive me of all of my sins. Thank you for dying for me so I would not have to perish, but have everlasting life. I trust you as my saviour, and from this day forward I give my life to you and offer myself to live for you!”

(all scriptures are quoted from the King James Version unless otherwise noted.)
